Vice-president of the Community of Sant'Egidio. Doctor honoris causa at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, he is Administrator of the Holocaust Museum Dossin Barracks in Belgium and Vice-President of the Regina Paola Foundation for Children in Need. He supports Sant'Egidio's efforts to encourage young Europeans to meet with the themes of peace and solidarity.
