A journalist, she edited the newspaper La Croix from 2005 to 2015. In 2016, she was elected president of the Semaines Sociales de France. Since the same year, she has also been a member of the French National Advisory Committee on Ethics for Life Sciences and Health (CCNE). She is honorary president of the Semaines Sociales de France.
