During the discussion between Yuli Yoel Edelstein, Israeli Minister of diplomatic relations and the diaspora, and Mahmoud Al-Habash, Minister of Religious Affairs of the Palestinian National Authority, comes a clear condemnation of those who unleashed violence against synagogues and mosques. The sacred books should always be respected because they contain the name of God

The dense debate starts with the memory of the attack to a mosque in Cisgiornadia that occurred yesterday. "It will be a coincidence that the attack happened just as we talked, but those who attack the mosques - Al Habash said - are against all the prophets, Abraham, Jesus and Mohammed, and against the God of the Koran and of the Torah". On this point, Edelstein remembers the destruction of synagogues in Gaza after the withdrawal of the Israeli army.

On topics such as the moratorium on settlements and the nature of employment positions are far. For Al Habash the relationship with Gaza is just a problem within the Palestinian field, that "will be resolved when the boundaries of a Palestinian state will be defined." In this context the representative of the PNA reminded how he himself was part of Hamas until the early '90s, and it will be possible a dialogue between Hamas and Fatah, as happens in every political community. Edelstein has a different conviction: "we can not sign with the Palestinian Authority and do not ask ourselves what will happen with Hamas in Gaza. I was contrary to the withdrawal from Gaza because I feared a resurgence of violence, but we have to work for the younger generation, so that hatred be not instilled into them".
