Junge Martin

Secretary General of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF)

Rev. Dr Martin Junge is the first Latin American to hold this office. He was elected General Secretary for a first term on November 2010 and for a second term from 2017–2024.

During his first term he was responsible for: reformation and ecumenical work, refugee’s policies, gender justice policy implementation, youth participation and inclusion.
