From Echmiadzin, seat of the Patriarchy, he guides this very ancient apostolic church which is present in various countries in the world, which has suffered so much in the twentieth century. He is promotor of an intense ecumenical activity of dialogue and cooperation with the other christian communities, especially the Catholic Church, whose relations have been consolidated in recent years from Saint John Paul II to Pope Francis.
